We all have those moments when we feel like tapping out, but when should we complain and when are we being self-centered? I would love to say I have all the answers. Just get me talking (or typing) and I sometimes am good enough to fool myself. But I simply do not know.

I struggle with boundaries, with saying I need help or that I am having a rough time. Then what happens is because I didn’t acknowledge the small problems early? They pile up and hit me like an avalanche. *whiiiiinnnne*

Bear with me…

Last week was one of those that seemed to just KEEP COMING. It started out well enough, then sucker-punched me. It took three appointments to get the cat, Odin neutered. I’ve never had a cat I waited so long to neuter, but have learned some valuable lessons.

Fulfilling Afternoon Casual Brainstorm with Teenage (personal) Friends: Summer job quest & Future Job Creators…

Fulfilling moments this afternoon with teenage (personal) friends, casually brainstorming their Summer job quest & experiences- 2015, and how important whatever they end up doing will impact their individual goals of becoming successful Job Creators in the future.

Or even whether that will continue to be their goal after their tenure, was another question that came up during the casual talk.

You Are A Self Starter Way Before You’re Your Own Boss!

A lot of folks think, once they become the own boss, they will be more efficient and effective. To their surprise, after a few months of entrepreneurship honeymoon, they lose motivation and have to drag themselves on to do what they once thought they loved most.

Tip of the day and of the Week: Whatever you’re still doing under another boss, be a self-driver, self starter and be very diligent! This same attitude will make you the best of your own boss when the time comes.

Have a great and productive rest of the day and week!

Working at Home and Managing Your Paperwork- some ideas.

Paperwork- hard copies or electronic- is a very important aspect of business organization. For those looking to bring your inventions, innovations and creations to a commercial level, this is a key factor in one’s success. Keep records as long as you are legally required to keep them. Ensure that they are easily accessible to you upon request. A lot of ambitious, creative folks go down the drain, not because of their business venture or project, itself, rather because of lost, misplaced or even mishandled paperwork. Financial, fiscal and other legal regulatory agencies have certain expectations of all those who engage in formal business ventures of any kind.

If there are any pending filings required by such agencies, it’s cost effective to ensure their timely delivery to the respective agencies, plus it’s significant for the retention and maintenance of your venture’s initial good reputation and good standing.

It all begins with basic organization of paperwork whether one works at home or outside their home. Below is a link to an interesting article randomly found on line with interesting tips.

And yes, it’s Thursday( for some it’s T.G.I.F already! )

Stay in touch with your inner self, and let giving up be no option!

Why Personal Credit counts when it comes to entrepreneur prospects.

It doesn’t matter how impressive a business plan is, when it comes to pushing one’s ideas beyond a sheer hobby, credit( business and personal) is key. This is an ignored aspect until reference checks and funding needs kick in.

Taking care of this issue while working on an idea or project can be very helpful and beneficial. Yes, it’s a business with its business tax identification number, but again, creditors are smart enough to know there’s an individual behind the business, who will not handle their money well, if the individual’s personal financial management is questionable.

Just some food for thought…

Happy Thursday- Just Do It!

You Will NOT Seek, but Be Sought After— The ‘IT Factor’ effect.

More and more I realize how important it is to take a deep exploration of uniqueness and individuality of any product or service any company or company will ever put in the market. The power of authenticity is remarkable.

INNOV

I ‘m always astonished at how Apple never has to worry about who will buy their new product. Even before it’s official release, the pre-purchase volume is overwhelmingly through the roof. I had a personal experience where around Christmas time last year, I could not find an X-Box One .  Everywhere I went. I was told, “try after January 15th, maybe”.

Seasoned athletes and exceptionally talented entertainers do not have to seek sponsors or endorsements. They are pursued and found by those who seek the stars’ impression on their brand.

All this brings it to one thing- uniqueness!  Some call it the “It Factor”. It’s valuable to anyone or whichever product/service bears it. Individuals and companies that will take the trouble and time to explore this path can go a long way in sustainable success. That said, what is your “It Factor” ?
